Colleen grew up on Long Island and attended UNC Chapel Hill, where she double majored in Economics and Anthropology. She continued her education at NYU, earning a MS in Global Affairs, with a concentration in Economic Development. Prior to Stern, she worked as the Executive Director of a NYC based nonprofit that taught financial literacy to high school aged students. She is looking to use her time at Stern to continue a career in social impact, but transition to a role in CSR or sustainability. Outside of school, Colleen also serves on the board for an NGO that works with children in Cambodia. In her free time she enjoys reading, celebrating Tar Heel wins, and suffering with the Jets.
